Modalities I Commonly Use

“I offer many different massage modalities, but most sessions combine techniques tailored to create the best results for each client.”

Deep Tissue Massage
Targets severe muscle and fascia tension by working into the deeper layers of tissue. Especially beneficial for chronic pain, athletic recovery, and injury rehabilitation. Some post-session soreness is normal as the body resets. Communication during treatment is key to comfort, so please understand I will be talking with you from time to time.

Sports Massage
Designed for athletes and active individuals, this therapy enhances circulation, reduces muscle soreness, and improves mobility. Different techniques are applied depending on whether you’re training, competing, or recovering.

Stone Therapy Services

Hot Stone Massage (Basalt Stones)
Smooth, volcanic basalt stones are heated and used to melt away muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation. The stones are incorporated into flowing massage strokes and placed on key points of the body to gently release tightness.

Salt Stone Massage (Himalayan Salt Stones)
Warm Himalayan salt stones provide deep muscle relief, gentle exfoliation, and mineral benefits. Naturally rich in trace elements, these stones help reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and promote a sense of calm and balance.

Cold Stone Therapy (Marble Stones)
Chilled marble stones reduce inflammation, ease migraines and sinus congestion, and refresh the nervous system. This therapy helps constrict blood vessels, relieve swelling, and energize the mind and body.

Contrast Stone Therapy (Hot & Cold Stones)
A therapeutic combination of heated basalt and chilled marble stones, designed to stimulate circulation, decrease inflammation, and reset the nervous system. The alternating temperatures create a powerful, balancing effect that promotes healing and recovery.

Energy Stone Work (Chakra & Healing Stones)
Specially selected stones are used to support energetic alignment and emotional balance. Placed along the body or incorporated into massage, these stones enhance grounding, release blocked energy, and encourage harmony of body, mind, and spirit.

Swedish Massage
A classic, full-body massage with long flowing strokes, kneading, and gentle tapping. Excellent for relaxation, stress reduction, improved circulation, and overall well-being.

Trigger Point Therapy
Focuses on releasing “knots” in tight muscle bands that cause referred pain elsewhere in the body. By releasing trigger points, mobility improves and pain decreases.

Active Release Techniques (ART)
A specialized therapy for overuse and repetitive strain injuries. Combines precise pressure with guided client movement to break up adhesions, restore tissue function, and improve flexibility.

Stretching Integration
Incorporating stretching into sessions improves flexibility, increases range of motion, and boosts circulation. It also prevents injuries and supports recovery.

TMJ Therapy / Myofascial Jaw Release
Targets the muscles of the jaw, head, and neck to reduce pain and dysfunction related to TMJ disorders. Helps ease jaw clicking, headaches, and tension while restoring mobility.

Peaceful Renewal Massage
A signature 90-minute session blending Swedish massage with hot stones, sound therapy, chakra stones, essential oils, and energy balancing. Includes breath work, herbal teas, and restorative time for deep renewal and harmony.

Somatic Massage
Somatic massage focuses on the mind-body connection, helping release tension held in the muscles that often stems from stress, emotions, or trauma. Through gentle, mindful touch and awareness techniques, it encourages relaxation, restores balance, and supports both physical and emotional well-being.
